Ficharix — Time-tracking SaaS with cryptographic integrity
A multi-tenant SaaS that turns Spain's mandatory time-tracking law into a polished product: tamper-proof cryptographic chain, per-company panel, mobile app and automated reports.
The challenge
Spain's Royal Decree 8/2019 requires every employer to log each worker's hours and keep those records for four years. Most companies handle this with spreadsheets or generic clocking tools — and when an inspection arrives, those records are easy to question. The client wanted to offer something better: a solid product, easy to use, and one that would hold up under any audit without argument.
What we delivered
An online platform where every company gets its own independent space, accessible from its own subdomain (yourcompany.fichar.app). Employees clock in from the browser or the mobile app in one click. They can request leave, check their history and download their monthly report without ever calling HR. Admins get a central panel: headcount, shifts, holidays, absences, PDF and Excel reports, and a full audit trail.
Access is password-less — employees get a magic link by email and step straight in. Two-factor authentication for admins, geofencing by office to validate clock entries happen where they should.
Why it holds up under inspection
Every clock entry is digitally signed and chained to the previous one. If anyone tries to alter a past record, the chain breaks and the system flags it instantly. It's the technical equivalent of a notarised logbook: any tampering leaves a trace. That's the detail that turns Ficharix into a product no inspector can dispute — and the reason a legal team approves it without a fight.
